Our People
The heart of Vedant Health
Vedant Health prides itself on having the most helpful, caring people in the business. Let us take this moment to introduce you to some of the client-facing members of our family.
Raymond Bell
Chief Executive Officer
full bioRaymond started at Vedant Health over thirty years ago with a passion for promoting quality. As an innovator, he believes in the power of technology to catch and correct errors and help people. “The best part of my job is having the ability to meet the people we help,” said Raymond.
Raymond’s duties are split between managing the day-to-day company activities and designing additional TestStream functionality. Though he heads operations, you’ll often hear his voice over the phone answering customer calls. It’s part of his dedication to delivering quality solutions to his customers. This dedication was inspired from his youth.
“You could say that I have been in healthcare all of my life as playing rugby was a large part of growing up and I spent more time in the emergency rooms than I did at school!”
Raymond is originally from Pontefract, England. He lived in Colorado for 20 years before heading out to Southern California in 2015, and then onwards to Florida, and confesses, “my ideal location would be the sight of the Rocky Mountains at the beach.” When not working, – “for those two hours a day” – Raymond enjoys spending time outdoors with Pudd, his puppy, and they try to get to the beach as much as possible.

Samantha has always had a passion for healthcare and helping solve problems; whether the problems lie within a process, technology, or time constraints. During Samantha’s time at Vedant Health, she transitioned to the Sales & Services Director position to provide further support for our clients. Kim Stice-Cruz, MT(ASCP)SBB
Cerner Blood Bank Validation Manager
full bioKim began her journey in healthcare as a biology major at Midwestern State University. There she discovered something closer to what she wanted to do and changed her major to Medical Technology. Because of her love for blood bank, she furthered her education and completed the Specialist in Blood Bank Technology program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Her passion and experience brought her to Vedant Health almost 10 years ago to manage and perform Cerner Millennium Transfusion Operational Qualification validations using the TestStream Solution. She also presents TestStream demonstrations for sales and training. Kim has over 20 years of blood validation experience and over 25 years blood bank experience in donor centers and transfusion services.
“Each client is a new adventure and challenge, and I love it,” said Kim. “I have always been kidded by my friends and peers because they say I “light up” when I talk about blood banking. They say it is obvious I have a passion for what I do, and they are correct.”
Kim lives in Saginaw, Texas with her husband Miguel and their pets. Her daughter Lauren is attending Midwestern State University and majoring in Pre-Dentistry. She also enjoys cooking, making things, movies, volunteering, and her animals.
Elizabeth Peyton-Chatfield, MT(CSMLS)
Principal Services Specialist
full bioElizabeth began her healthcare career over 25 years ago after graduating as a Medical Technologist from the College of the North Atlantic in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada. Adventure was calling and Elizabeth began travelling and working around the world. Although she began in the blood bank, there was a sudden need for a technologist in the Histology Lab at the American Hospital-Dubai and Elizabeth was hooked.
Elizabeth left the Histopathology Lab in 2013 taking on the role of a Cerner Millennium PathNet Analyst with Health PEI in Prince Edward Island, Canada. With this new role came a new appreciation for how improvements to the clinical information system can encourage clients to use the system for improved care, safety, and clinical reporting.
“Users can be afraid of the system, I love helping them gain trust and understanding.” said Elizabeth.
In 2018 Elizabeth left the East Coast of Canada for the Pacific North West and now lives in her husband Brads home State of Washington with their two teenage boys, Liam and Zachary, and dog Nellie. Having traded the ice rink for the lacrosse field, it seems Elizabeth is always cheering her boys to go faster! In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys getting outdoors with her family, and spending time in the kitchen baking which is her true passion which leads to running with Nellie, so she can bake some more.
Beth Espiriti, MHSc, MLS(ASCP)SBB
Blood Bank Services Specialist
full bioBeth has been involved with the blood banking profession for over 20 years. She has experience in donor collections, manufacturing, distribution, and patient testing. She received training by the military before earning her bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from The University of Cincinnati and continuing on to the Specialist in Blood Banking Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch. From teaching incoming MLT students to in-services at the American Red Cross, a big part of Beth’s passion while working on the laboratory bench is training others in this field. She especially appreciates the blending of new technology with ongoing transfusion medicine developments.
“I love being a member of a team where I use my knowledge to ensure the technology system is properly working to achieve the ultimate mission of patient safety.” said Beth.
Beth currently lives in Tucson, Arizona where she grew up. She spends at least one girl weekend a month with her 3 sisters and mother doing various home renovation projects. She loves engaging in family adventures with her three children Arthur, Carmen, and Rebecca. During the summertime, they frequently travel to their home in the Pacific Northwest to escape the Arizona heat.
Kimberley Grieco, MTBB (ASCP) BSN
Professional Services Validation Specialist
full bioKim has over 35 years in the blood bank industry. She holds dual licensure as a Medical Technologist and an RN. Experience in both fields enhanced her approach to patient safety.
Kim began and grew her career with the New York Blood Center at Westchester Medical Center where she processed and tested donor units. She was promoted to the blood bank serving a large trauma, oncology, transplant, and neonatal population. Kim volunteered her time realizing there was a need to teach nurses the basics of blood bank. In 2005 she received her RN degree and she worked in medical surgical nursing and outpatient transfusion. However, Kim’s true passion is blood bank and her co-workers always laughed and said, “she’s back like a boomerang!”
Kim is originally from White Plains NY and along with her husband raised two daughters on a farm an hour north in Stormville. If Kim wasn’t working you could find her in the barn, gardening or driving her girls to dance class. She currently lives in North Carolina and enjoys spending time with her family.
